I’am 30 weeks pregnant and the last time i went to the doctor they said that my baby was breeched and i have been having a lot of pains in my lower plvic area and it only hurts bad when i get up from sitting or lying down for a long time and when i’am sitting down and bend over like to oick something up while i’am sitting down and i was wondering if i should be worried and go to the hospital or make a doctor’s app to get checked out?please answer this question for me thanks”

Pelvic pain (also called Pelvic Girdle Pain, or PGP) in the third trimester is common— about 45% of pregnant women report experiencing it- and it’s caused by the weight of the pregnancy straining your pelvic joints, soft tissues, cartilage and ligaments. Though pelvic pain can be very unpleasant and acute, isn’t a sign that there is any problem with your pregnancy, unless you also have symptoms of pre-term labor (the pain gets progressively stronger and happens in rhythmic intervals, and comes with a tightening sensation across your belly). If that’s the case, notify your doctor right away. For regular pelvic pain, though, cope by doing your best to reduce stress on the pelvic joint. Avoid any movement with your knees apart, and practice getting in and out of beds, cars, sofas and chairs while keeping your knees together and using your arms for support.
