Can’t Remember the Date of My LMP, How Can I Calculate My Due Date?

Marcie Jones 4 Comments

It is bad when you don’t remember when your last menstrual period was to determine how far along you are in a pregnancy? Is there a way to figure it out if you aren’t sure?”

It is really common for a pregnant woman to not remember exactly what the first day of her last period was. Some women are organized and remember to enter the date in an app or calendar every month, but if you’re not actively trying to get pregnant (or to not get pregnant) it’s easy to just not pay much attention. If you’re in the “don’t pay attention” category, you can try to guess the date by checking your calendar, receipts, or even credit-card bills to try to jog your memory. But if you’re not sure you can pin down the day, tell your care provider that and don’t guess randomly. You can schedule an ultrasound and have the baby’s due date determined by fetal measurements.
